Do you ever notice how the internet doesn't end? I remember a time when I would reach the point in my Tumblr feed where I was seeing the posts I had seen the night before, and knew I had reached the end of the line. These days, we are infinitely scrolling on every single site, and there's very little that will stop us unless we make a conscious decision to quit scrolling. It certainly keeps us on the internet for longer, giving us more and more content to fill our puny minds with. The only thing that prevents me from doomscrolling for 4 hours while lying in bed on a Saturday morning is to turn my phone 100% off and hide it away from my line of sight. If you can handle it in moderation, there's nothing wrong with a little doomscrolling. If not, these funny memes might just be too much for you.
